About

Basically I started this blog because I am a lifelong learner and I want to learn about how blogs work.  Not a very exciting reason perhaps, but that is mine. I am and have always been, interested in many things . At the moment my non-work interests include renewable energy, vermiculture,  textile art, permaculture , upcycling and politics. Yup, pretty much a treehugger and proud of it. But I don’t live in the U.S.A. , I live in Spain, so I won’t be discussing politics here. (Unless I just can’t resist.) cartoon me

I have studied many things , and worked in many kinds of jobs but my professional activity is not for this blog either. I expect the categories will define  themselves as we go along.

This bog is dedicated to everyone in my family, including some dear friends who are like family ,  but it is named for my two brothers .  In the Queens neighborhood in New York City where we grew up,  everyone called both of them Nemo . So the name of this blog  is in tribute to Nemo (Brian) who is a great father and husband, and in memory of Nemo (Tom).
